You must have your iPhone upgraded to SDK 2.0. Contact your service provider to obtain instructions on how do so.
1. Browse to "Settings"
2. Click on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"
3. Click on "Add Account"
4. Select "Microsoft Exchange"
a. Set "Email" to your Astate email address

b. Set "Domain" to astate.edu
c. Set "Username" to your Astate Username
i. jdoe
d. Set "Password" to your Astate Password
i. Remember that whenever you have to change your
password, it will also have to be changed here.
e. Click "Next"
i. Here it tries to connect to the Exchange Server, which
may take around 45 seconds.
f. When that is finished you will see a new option
called "Server"
g. Set "Server" to webmail.astate.edu
h. Click "Next"
i. Here it tries to connect to the Exchange Server, which
may take around 45 seconds.
5. Once the account has verified
a. Turn on the features you want like mail and calendars.
i. Warning - turning on contacts over writes any contacts
currently in your phone
6. Then Click "Save"
7. Congratulations you have successfully setup your iPhone to
access the corporate email system.
